Ericameria teretifolia is a shrub that is native to California, and also found elsewhere in western North America.
[Wikipedia] Leaf & Flower Head Details: Leaves are thread-shaped and terete (round in cross-section, very gradually tapering; the epithet teretifolia means "with terete leaves").
