HISTORY:
Pacific Gas and Electric purchased the 367 acre plat from a rancher to enhance vernal pool habitat and transferred ownership to the Department of Fish and Wildlife in 1993. The area is home to Tadpole and Fairy Shrimp as well as rare vernal pool plant species.
