ABOUT 
Nestled in the Lassen National Forest, this location is very scenic with lush meadows, both dense and open forests, a large creek and a plethora of wildflowers. The Dixie Fire severely burned this area in 2021.

DIRECTIONS:   Between Hwy 89 and Hwy 36, head East on Wilson Lake Rd. Travel approximately 3.1 miles, turn left on Forestry Rd 29N18. Shortly after passing 29N40, the parking area is on the right, while the Blue Lake Trailhead is on the left.

TIPS FOR YOUR VISIT 
  • The wildflower season is best in July.
  • HISTORY:   In 2021, this area succumbed to the Dixie Fire, and has lost it's beauty, it's forever changed.
