The Bucks Lake Wilderness is a spectacular place. It is a location like no other. Elevations ranging from 2000' all the way to Spanish Peak at 7017'. The area is inundated with wildflowers, flowing creeks, and scattered lakes through out the area. This place has it all.

TIPS FOR YOUR VISIT 
  • Wildflower blooming season is usually in July for the area.
  • HISTORY:   The Bucks Lake Wilderness was established by the California Wilderness Act of 1984. It contains over 21,000 acres.
