Old Cove Native Plant Preserve, Ocean Institute
KEYWORDS:   California Coastal Sage Scrub
ABOUT
The Ocean Institute, California Coastal Commission, California Resource Agency and County of Orange collaborated in the development of the Old Cove Native Plant Preserve. Many years ago, these future thinking folks put a lot of thought, careful planning and a boat load of money developing this unique garden. My capstone project purposes to boost the public?s awareness and appreciation of and thereby increase interest in maintaining and protecting this extremely exposed plant community of fragile coastal sage scrub literally in the Ocean Institute?s backyard. Let?s get the word out about this extraordinary habitat park!
