A Bishop pine forest with great trails and wonderful views of Tomales Bay.

DIRECTIONS:   From the town of Point Reyes Station, take Sir Francis Drake Blvd up the west side of Tomales Bay. Turn right onto Pierce Point Rd, folling the signs for Tomales Bay State Park.

Park in the parking lot at Pierce Point Rd and Shallow Beach Rd. The Jepson trailhead is right there.

TIPS FOR YOUR VISIT 
  • Swimming: In September, the water temperature in the bay is very pleasant. The beach is rocky, and when you go in the water, the first few feet are mucky.
