The Calflora Terms of Use Agreement applies to all users.
 

Skip Registration if you are under 13, in a K-12 school, or at a public library. Register as a Personal User if you are an individual who uses Calflora for personal, non-professional purposes. Typical Personal Users include amateur enthusiasts, serious plant observers, students, volunteers and educators, as long as their activity at the Calflora site is not part of a professional, business, or government activity. Registering as a personal user is free (thanks to a generous donor). Register as a Professional User if you are an individual who uses Calflora for any business or professional reason. Typical professional users include land managers, environmental consultants, landscapers, contractors, planners and decision makers, environmental scientists, government employees, academics, professional journalists, and writers. The annual fee for professional users is $150 (though you can register as a guest free for 30 days, subscribe at a different amount if your budget requires it, or register for free if you are a professional working as a volunteer for CNPS or another organization or project). Paying for a professional registration is simple if you are a member of an organization that has a Calflora Site License. Here is a list of Calflora Site License Holders.
