beyond).

There are New Features...
|
Map Views. Plant observation data might seem flat and uninteresting,
until you see an interesting plant in your watershed as a clickable point on a relief map.
The Calflora Map Viewer can
display much of Calflora's Plant Observation Library in just
this way. The recent focus has been on adding location checklists
for areas that can be represented as polygons on the map (for
instance, state parks).
See particularly
Roll the mouse over a polygon to see its name. Click on it to see
the list of what was observed there.
Nomenclature.
There have been many recent changes to the scientific nomenclature
of California plants. Each Calflora Species Report now contains a
Name Status area, explaining which authorities (ICPN, PLANTS, CNPS) recognize the
name as 'current', and whether the name has been replaced by
a newer name. It also lists past synonyms of the name. If you would
like to delve further into it, try
the Name Status query page, or
the Scientific Name query page.

Where is My Confirmation Email?
|
|
The Calflora website sends you email to confirm your registration moments
after you finish registering. However, this email can get blocked
on its way to you by spam and junk mail filters.
If you registered more than just a few seconds ago
and haven't yet received your confirmation email,
please check any junk mail folders you might have to see if it's there.
Otherwise, please
CONTACT
Calflora from your stated email address so that we can
activate your account manually.

Please contact us with any questions about Calflora, the registration process,
or the status of your account.
