Jug Handle State Reserve

ABOUT 
This is a beautiful spot with a great beach. There are some really easy short hikes from the parking lot. As you head inland from the coast, following the "ecological staircase," the plant communities slowly change.

DIRECTIONS:   The parking lot is right off Highway 1, just north of Caspar, on the west (ocean) side of the highway.

TIPS FOR YOUR VISIT 
  • Pink flowering currants usually bloom in January and February.
