ABOUT 
Mount Linn is the highest peak in California's Coastal Ranges at 8092'. It encompasses Long Lake Springs, Linn Meadow, Square Lake, Square Lake Spring and Talus Spring.

DIRECTIONS:   Take exit 631 off I-5 towards Paskenta, continue on Toomes Camp Rd approximately 18 miles to M-2 National Forest Rd, continue 4.8 miles take 25N19 to the Ides Cove Backpacker Trailhead.

TIPS FOR YOUR VISIT 
  • Chico Hiking Association has excellent trail maps to this location, with fabulous camp spots and water locations for this hike. The 6.2 mile hike with a 1800' elevation gain is considered a moderate day hike. http://www.chicohiking.org/HighCountry/Mount-Linn.htm
  • GEOLOGY:   Varied terrain of rocky ridges, meadows, clear creeklets, and small lakes.
