ABOUT
Bob's Gap is in the southern Mojave Desert, not far from Valyermo, where the road goes through a gap in the desert foothills containing limestone and a streambed crosses the road. Spring wildflowers can be spectacular depending on rain. Year round it has shrubs characteristic of the mountain-desert transitional zone. There are historic ruins.
